Construction is complete on a 24-story apartment tower in Downtown Los Angeles, according to MVE + Partners.
The Griffin, is located at the intersection of 8th and Spring Streets, it was developed by Holland Partner Group. The Griffin, located at the northwest corner of the intersection, features 275 studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments above 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Alluding the 150-foot street wall seen in the Downtown of the 1920s, the tower draws upon the historic context of the neighborhood for their lower levels. The Griffin employs an exterior of metal and cast stone – a nod to the Historic Core. It has a modern appearance upon their upper floors.
